Sustainability

Gorgeous on your skin, gentle on the planet

Since I started my lingerie line, I knew that I didn’t just want to focus on creating beautiful designs, but on creating them in the most sustainable way possible. That’s why ethical and sustainable values are present in every step of the process, from the design stage until the package reaches your door.

concious mindset

Thoughtful design

When designing and drafting my patterns, I take into account the fabric I’ll be using, so that I can make the most of it and minimize waste when cutting. Also, I make designs that are timeless and carefully crafted, so that they can be worn and cherished for years to come.  As Vivienne Westwood said: “Buy less, choose well, make it last”!

How we work

Ethical manufacturing

Every garment is made in-house, in my Stockholm studio, and it’s made to order. This means that your lingerie will be handmade specifically for you, so I only make the garments that I’m going to sell. By doing so, I avoid the waste of overproducing garments and having stock that remains unsold and will eventually be thrown away. Of course, it takes more time to produce garments one by one, but the environmental pay-off is worth it for me.

Quality materials

Responsible sourcing

All the materials used in my lingerie are sourced from Europe, thus reducing their carbon footprint. When selecting suppliers, I prioritize small and local business, especially if their goods are awarded with certificates of quality and sustainability. In some collections, like Ceres, I use deadstock fabric that comes from textile factories overproduction and would otherwise go to landfills. Even all the packaging (from the cardboard boxes to the postcards and stickers) is made from recycled materials and can be recycled itself.

Reforestation

Planting Trees

Did you know that your lingerie plants trees? I donate to One Tree Planted, so for every item you purchase from my website, they plant a tree to help reforestation in the most needed areas (like the Amazonian rainforest and, after last year’s fires, Australia). Together we can help our planet, one tree at a time!
