Oeko-Tex Standard 100
This is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels. This certificate applies for accessory materials as weel and is used along the textile value chain. The label ‘Confidence in Textiles’ of the product-related Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (textiles tested for harmful substances) is supplemented by the certification of environmentally friendly production facilities according to Oeko-Tex Standard 1000. Also by the product label Oeko-Tex Standard 100plus for products tested for harmful substances from environmentally friendly production.
Testing for harmful substances includes illegal substances, legally regulated substances, numerous harmful chemicals (even if they are not yet legally regulated), as well as parameters for health care.

Dentelle de Calais-Caudry
In 1958, the label Dentelle de Calais® was created to avoid confusion between the woven lace and an inferior quality version that had just appeared knitted using the mesh method.

In 2015, the label Dentelle de Calais-Caudry® replaced Dentelle de Calais®. The new trademark brought geographic precision and reinforced its cultural heritage. It is a guarantee of the excellence of a product made in France, respecting the traditional skills on which it has founded its reputation.
The majority of the lace we use has been made under the label Dentelle de Calais-Caudry®. You can learn more about the meaning of this label in their website.
Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant
The Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV or “Living Heritage Company”) label is a mark of recognition of the French State. It rewards French firms for the excellence of their traditional and industrial know-how. The label brings together producers committed to the quality of their trades and products. It is be awarded to any undertaking consisting in particular of rare, renowned skills.
